Forecasting

Your future is in YOUR hands!
All forecasting sheets may be found in the counseling office with Mrs. Bowen, Counseling Secretary. Every Spring your counselor will enter classrooms to deliver forecasting materials for the following year. All new students must come in to the counseling office to register, test and choose their courses. See below for specific course options per grade level.

6th Grade:

Required Core Courses:
Language Arts 6
Math *specific level placement based on previous year's grades, homework habits and classroom work ethic
Science
Social Studies
Physical Education
Technology

Additional Course Options:
Fine Arts: choose #1 and #2 choices
  • Band 1- Beginning band
  • Choir
  • Strings/Orchestra (prerequisite private lessons)
  • Art

7th Grade:

Exploratory (one semester of each computer & shop/tech)

  • Strings/Orchestra (prerequisite private lessons or 6th grade strings)

  • Intro. to Strength Training: weights, circuit training, conditioning, etc.

8th Grade:

* Native students have the option to take "Indian Ed." to focus on Math, Reading, and improving attendance, if desired. The course would replace a Fine Arts option.
